Course Description

In this course you will set the foundation to learning how to communicate with Spanish speaking clients. The lessons build upon themselves, based on learning new vocabulary and applying it to the level of Spanish you currently know. All levels of learner are welcome, and each will find this information useful. Students get the most out of this class with heavy participation in both group and one-on-one activities. This course is taught by a practicing clinician that primarily treats Spanish speaking patients. He is a native speaker and through this adds a cultural component to the course. PT/OT students and clinicians who have taken this class in the past have found it very helpful in improving and enhancing their ability to communicate with their patients.

CCUs for 12 contact hours have been awarded through the TPTA for licensed PTs and PTAs.
